Epson Stylus Photo R2400 Software and Driver Download. The R2400 gets high points for design, not because of its looks but because of its versatility faces, it’s massive 2 meters 2 meters with long plates for letter-size record silver and dull gray ghost that follows all other printers that make them drive through service I There are four buttons in front control, cut/feed paper, ink runs to escape, and select a document record. Here is how we can help with your Epson R2400. A list of the Adobe Photoshop and printer driver settings for your printer. Mac = SuperFine 1440dpi. The Epson Stylus Photo R2400 is an EPSON built printer that has a resolution of 5760 x 1440 dpi, and Total Media Capacity reaches 100 sheets, and the Design printer is minimalist and good for home, office and where you work, and type Software is Drivers & Utilities, EPSON RAW Print, Color Efex Pro 2.0 Standard Edition, for the price of R2400.
You fold everything and remove the other front panel for a straight line; the printer blows the media when you load it, widens the back of the printer, and eliminates the paper when printing. The Epson Stylus Photo R2400 Software has no support for writing, which I feel makes sense for thick and stiff stock, but I would feel much safer if there was at least a piece of plastic there.
The one-sheet feeder enters the hole behind the main paper tray, as do two roll holders. All these different parts cannot remain attached at the same time, and tracking what needs to be folded for others to can be confusing. Unlike many printers I’ve seen recently, however, there is nothing brittle on this model: every piece of plastic feels stiff and sturdy. Performance Epson Stylus Photo R2400 Software printer ink design works like most printers: when you press the ink button, the operator moves to the place where you can access it. The flashing light shows low ink or comes out, so at least you don’t need to go back to your computer and look for it in the driver. You still have to replace the matte cartridge and black physically, but this is very painful.
Props for Epson to include FireWire cables in the box. Drivers – the same Epson sends with many printers – have two modes: Basic and Advanced.
I don’t expect anyone to buy this printer to use the Basic method. However, all screens are quite easy to understand, at least for the intended audience. One minor annoyance: the driver often returns to the High-Speed option. While the extension to driver software, CDs do package including Epson Raw Print – another Windows parts and four free filters from Nik Multimedia’s Color Efex Pro. After installation, Epson also directs you to the site, where you can download the latest recorded ICC profiles for the printer.
Given the high price of the Stylus Photo R2400, it would be great to get the color profile software or Epson Film Factory too.
Using iMac 20' pentium processor - Parallels V 3188 XP Pro - 2 gig ram - My Mac works find using the printer usb2. It has never worked on the Windows side. I have tried everything.
After calling tech support yes and talking to a life person. He tried several things to make printer work with out success, recommend buying a print server. Which I ran out a bought. Last night I spent 1 1/2 hrs on phone with tech support for the print server.
They said the print server will not work with your printer. I Returned the server this AM. Several people advised me to go back to BootCamp. I am a photographer and need the driver and profiles that come with the printer. ( monitor match printer). Have you tried this?? It worked for me, using the stated Epson 680 ( USB ) and an Epson DX4800 scanner/printer combo though I have yet to try using the scanner side, printing is fine.
Epson R2400 Rich- I've had Parallels since before v1970. Back in those dark days the only way for me to connect with my R2400 was thru the generic driver. Along the way I've tried a Linksys router, a linksys print server and 'all' the suggestions in the threads on this forum. Some versions it would work (the connection) some it wouldn't. With RC3 and the current v2.5, I've been able to connect using Apples recent Extreme with the USB port.
As in previous attempts, I have first set up the printer in OS X, then made sure to share it. Then, I've loaded the windows drivers in XP. Then I've installed the printer using the latest Bonjour for Windows. The VM machine recognizes the printer as an Epson R2400 and uses the driver and printer interface as designed. However, neither the OS X session nor the VM session will not recognize the Utility program for the printer. If I want to check the ink levels or run any of the other utility tests, I have to connect the printer directly to a USB port in the OS X system. This I am assuming is an issue with the Epson supplied drivers and not OS X.
Otherwise, in Parallels, I can print to the R2400 using Office 2007, Nikon Capture NX and Lightroom. The latter two programs are for photo printing, AND that uses all of the driver interface options for the R2400.

So, download the latest driver, and good luck. By the way, I'm NOT downloading another version of Parallels until something happens to this connection Dave. Hi everyone - Thanks for the help! I'm going to try mkstevo's way first so I hopefully don't have to buy an Extreme.
Quick question - when I'm trying to set up the CUPS printer, the 2nd screen I get is 'device for R2400,' for which, I assume, I put 'usb,' since Parallels only allows usb access (can I use firewire?). The next page is where I get stumped - it asks me for a device URI - what do I use? I then assume I use 'Raw' for the model/driver, and then 'raw/queue(en)' for the model?
Thanks again for both of your help - like Bob said, there are great people on this site. Regards, Rich.
